I would say probably it's bad to read a book specifically on things like STR because this space is very fluid and dynamic and things change constantly.

And I don't know about an entire year, but it legitimately takes months to accommodate such a dramatic, unclear, and fluid change in the tax law.

Kind of like a refinance when you refinance your home you do not bring money to closing you include the closing costs into the new loan by using the existing equity.Taking cash out of your primary is a solid choice to reserve your liquid assets and stay cash fluid.

@Christopher Gadison I'm out for my W2 work now doing agent work for large utility-scale solar development.There are a few ways people get into solar profitably:1) Own raw land in massive contiguous or nearly-contiguous quantities near or under high voltage transmission lines; get it leased by a big solar developer; usually 2,000+ acres depending on area and power prices.2) Put together a solar "deal" and flip the deal to a large renewables company; you find the land, get it under contract/lease, design and engineering the facility, get everything permitted, line up contractors, line up a PPA (power purchase agreement), then sell the whole thing off3) Develop and operate one yourself (this is very rare for private folks at utility scale).

@Kajal Aggarwal in addition to what others have said I would add that if there are things that you can do to improve the noise transmission consider doing those.

Most people have less than 3k in their bank account and basically are one blown-transmission, medical emergency, or roof leak from being broke yet some freaking guru want to you to trust them and spend your VERY LAST on their program.

That is the best part of this whole journey it is very fluid and can/should change along the way.

AND we have this lovely thing called line-loss, because there is energy loss from the transmission of it along lines.

But, I don't rebuild my own transmissions despite my incredible mechanical aptitude, and I don't cut my own hair, or repair my own appliances, or pull my own teeth...
