There are guest speakers that cover different topics and investors of all experience levels looking to network there. 

I used to be the featured speaker at a national workshop/school, where we presented PWF's as a great energy efficient alternative to concrete.

Scheduling showings for next week.Once people come to see it, especially with all the "detail" improvements (tech upgrades and not just pre-wired but installing speakers already, etc, custom tile work w/ pattern, custom bathroom glass/tile work), I don't think they will be able to resist it.

I don't mind a static ad, the bouncy moving graphic stuff is annoying but can be ignored and just put down to companies I don't want to do business with, but the ones with the noise make me immediately close the tab unless it is something I REALLY want to read and I mute the speakers for. 

I am a huge self-help/motivation junkie and big fan of a motivational speaker by the name of Eric Thomas (aka ET the HipHop Preacher) - you should definitely check him out on youtube.  

I've not done one of these before but I was at a local REI group and we had a speaker from this company.

The Flipping Formula 3 day seminar in Anchorage (speaker was Marc Hrisko) was a knowledgeable experience.

My next step is to pour through it when it arrives and try to meet with some local investors.I do not know of any events that meet on a regular day on the weekends.It isn't uncommon for there to be occasional weekend events hosted by a meeting (often something with the previous speaker).

If its like most of these (it will be) it will be a pitch fest by a bunch of speakers selling $1000 home study courses, $5000 workshops and $10,000 mentorships.
