Do you think that taking bigger risks may have alternatively landed you in a dark and cold place?

Not sure what the out come was but it made headline news.reality thought 99% of tax sales for little strips of land are just wasting money.

I am a Realtor and Land Developer based out of Weber County, Utah.

I got a land contract.How did you add value to the deal?

Is there a housing shortage or is there really a problem with the BARRIERS caused by productivity, land use, zoning and mandates that limits construction?  

A lot of loans require that you already own the land outright before they will provide funding but there are tons of different options.Once you have the funding piece figured out, I would discuss with a builder and try to price it out.

If some other dude wanted to run this business it sounds like they could just buy a mobile home on a similar plot of land for like $200,000 and throw up $40,000 worth of sheds and the like.

Realistically, many properties that go to auction may be in such bad shape that they don't justify the high bidding amounts, leading to losses as I mention above. 

Hi everyone, joined BP last year for all the freebee calculators and finding myself a bit over my head and in need of some advice...Have a commercial property bought on land contract, 0 down, 5%, amoritized over 30 years with 6 year balloon for 120k last year.

What's the deal with 'land lease'...should we steer clear?
