MN and ND aren't thought of as well prospering areas outside of the metro area of Minneapolis but this might be a prospect.

However, I survived and bought homes in a high interest rate environment, and prospered from it.

Are there people or companies out there willing to lend unsecured money this way outside of Lending Club, Prosper and so forth?

With all the opportunities in this field to grow and prosper, I'm elated to say the least.

That, in my opinion is what prosperity in America should stand for.

In Hyman Minsky's economic teachings he states:"The Financial Instability Hypothesis suggests that over periods of prolonged prosperity, capitalist economies tend to move from a financial structure dominated by hedge finance (stable) to a structure that increasingly emphasizes speculative and Ponzi finance (unstable)."

The Prosper and LendingClub models clearly prove the social lending model works.

I think holdings in currencies of commodity based economies will prosper long term.that being said, I think RE poses some of the greatest opportunities.
