I understand the tech/government/military/industrial complex makes the area attractive from a recruiting standpoint, but for the higher end jobs Amazon could probably move to Bismarck, ND and still attract people.

Being military I'm not crazy about long distance renting and this is not our forever home.

I've been looking in Texas, specifically Killeen, as there will be military members with regular pay checks etc.Any thoughts or opinions are helpful.Andrew

I plan on continuing with the military as I do like the lifestyle.

I work closely with US military everyday to keep morale high and to keep service members connected to home and family.

I did rent one out for a while using a property manager (more so out of necessity because of my military move).

I have been a bit overwhelmed dealing with this property, as it is my first time and I am the sort of person to get pretty fixated on details.I have  a lot of experience preparing scopes of work, having worked many years for big firms specializing in things like military construction.

My Spouse & I are both dual military so If im right, there might be a slight benefit there. 

This determines how much the military will pay someone for housing based on their zip code.
