So check the various data points yourself when it comes to infections.

Our buyers ( at least in our community) are either empty nesters or sold a home with a bunch of equity in Portland proper and want out of the social issues that are infecting mainly north Portland we have 3 from North Portland who bought and moved out to Canby  :)  WE are not getting the fHA younger family buyer although we have some families sure.. but not the low down payment max leverage buyers.So people start doing what happened in CA and Atlanta and Dallas they move out of the city centers and become commuters or as stated are retired or semi retired or  we do have some that are now working from home.

Excluding automobiles, gasoline, building materials and food services, retail sales decreased 3.5% last month.

I just wish the tables could be turned and these tenants that are commiting all kinds of crimes beyond just overstaying would finally be facing charges like fraud, extortion, terroristic threats, assault, etc...you know, the kinds of things that landlords get threatened with when they want to throw the book at one, but somehow tenants seem to be immune from.

Not wanting strangers who may or may not be infected  and wanting to protect your young child and yourself I would argue is very reasonable.

It infects just about every new investor. 

Only robots are immune.
