Any way good luck with it.. sounds like this company's eyes were way bigger than their stomach.. to scale on scattered lots is pretty tough logistically and I guess we are seeing that play out.

And many are very profitable with scale.

Knowing the three cities mentioned is important for grading the neighborhoods and can vary street by street. 

Unlike a kitchen or bathroom renovation your literally building a second house on the property and your dealing with everything from grading, soils, foundation, electrical, plumbing, framing etc.

Some really serious accusations by some very serious credible persons in the investment space INCLUDING one claiming to have 2nd hand insider 411 that can't lend public disclosure due to NDA's but that criminal charges are expected very soon, and really shady DEEPLY shady things on significant scale. 

I also recommend starting small with a duplex or single-family home to learn the ropes before scaling up

I thought it best to build these relationships early with smaller deals and scale up rather than come out of nowhere with a larger request later (after using solely personal capital on dealflow).
