If you own a house near college you will feel stuck there or you will become a long distance landlord when you are a busy college student.Also once you finish college you may end up living in a completely different part of the country for graduate school, your first professional job, or some other adventure.

But hey.... what are crazy adventures for right?

You do not want the neighbor listing on mls or other network because you have no way of knowing what someone else will pay for the place (of course, it could also work in your favor but that too is a gamble).

I can gamble and wait till I sell my flip but not sure if the timing is going to be right.  

I think speculating on amazon would be a huge gamble at this point.

It is a very exciting adventure!

We have the added benefit of being just a couple of hours from Moab which is maybe less attractive in the middle of summer, but an exceptional place for spring or fall adventures.
