Regarding Nevada or Delaware, I know there are anonymity advantages, but not totally up to date on their tax benefits given that they will not (or may be) your state of residence.

Alright, now it's going to get a little messy, I'll do my best.A homeowner on the street adjacent to ours is splitting his land and going to sell an acre off the back, but in order to do that he had to extend our road and build a cul-de-sac so there is enough road frontage to split the land.  

You might be able to use the existing mirror if it's not de-silvering around the edges.

@Andrew Postell at least in NC, if the borrower gives constructive de facto notice at time of origination, via a deed accepted by the underwriter and funding is permitted to proceed (there is NC COB precedence), then there is no default and the bank cannot "call" the note. 

I kinda agree with @Larry T. there is presently a storefront vacant building right at the corner of where i leave, the store is rented out but the apartment is vacant and it has been like that for at least 2yrs.You also need to be wary of the location, correct me if i am wrong but buildings were there are apartments and stores are technically in D, E locations which could have a lot of issues. this is based on my drive and stay in Rochester NY.Your located in NYC, i think you could take a day or weekend off to come down here and check the neighborhood out.

@Irina Belkofer The reason I'm hesitant to have a 3 year old live in the unit is because its an old house, and there are no public records of it being de-leaded.
