Upon her passing, the 401k interest was transferred to me into an inherited IRA account at the same servicer.

An LLC does make sense to protect assets, but will cost some money to set up as you cannot close in an LLC with a VA loan - it would have to be transferred post close.

I’m leaning towards the Fannie Mae route but have no idea the process to transfer it to your LLC later.

Then you are making that decision based on the data for the area and that unit..... not on who lives there already

Curious some data points / arguments / etc. other BP users have used in the past to argue how and why a project would benefit the community.
