I'm actually grateful for all the crap that has gone wrong now, because with experience, you learn you can get through it, and move forward.Think about it like this.. in 5 years, will you be happy you waited, or happy you got the guts and did it?     

My concern though is, it is listed for $259k for both houses, and they are easily worth $50k or more than that together, even if they look like crap on the inside.

Changs, people are still buying SUVs, Target is packed with people buying knick knack crap...If we are heading toward a depression, I'm not sure everyone has the message yet.

Crap like that is the kind of thing that haunts dreams forever.

Typerider,While I understand what you're saying; however, to compare to an inheritance is borderline insulting :) I'm taking a year of my live to sacrifice away from my nice home and cozy crap to work 12 hour days/7days a week, sleep on a little cot in a warzone because I can see the bigger picture.
