While I realize that if a person really wants to find out who owns the LLC, they ultimately can with some personal effort or potentially the courts, I didn’t want people to be able to easily look up that information online (ie a simple Google search).

I am also planning more extensive renovations to modernize the home, which will further enhance its appeal and value.

Urban areas like Austin and Dallas are appealing for growth potential and job markets, but the suburbs and smaller towns offer more unique opportunities (lower entry costs and a steady flow of families and retirees seeking affordability and space).

The aspect of buying and selling without the headache of repair, remodel or tenant issues is what I find the most appealing.

If they settled out of court, why didn't insurance pay everything? 

@Rion Redinger Hi Rion, I don't show a unit until I have a completed application including a pay stub documenting employment and income, a copy of the applicant Driver's License and I will have run public record court searches for all munis and counties listed on the application.

This will allow for you to pursue legal action "eviction" if ever needed for non payment or negligence as a tenant. if you rent out the basement separately but it is not a legal unit, the court will not allow you to pursue an eviction.

If I was in on this by myself, I would have kept up the fight and if it came down to going to court with them, I would have stood up for myself.

The sooner I get this paid off, but sooner I can go back for more and it will look more appealing to other PML
