Your initial monthly payments will be very low and then build up as the project gets to the end.

But I have a client with the same type of building and has a non-conforming basement that he uses as an Airbnb and hasn't had any issues with it. 

I then did some wholesaling, land flipping, did some more buying and am now just doing lending to build up active income.

My 14 year old now makes over $100/month passive income from her % owned and my 10 year old is at like $65/month.In this process we are building their interest in real estate, teaching them the value of putting their money to work for them, and all the while growing our investment if we need it for their college money some day! 

My main goal is to build good fundamental knowledge so any and all help is appreciated!

@Jason Weidmannit's only solid if:1) you pick a market that you can go to in person and build a team first, and 2) you recognize that RE is a long-term investment, and you may have to wait 5-10 years, or longer, before seeing ANY return. 

Are you still considering building more of a portfolio or are you happy with where you're at and you just wanna pay off the debt?

Picking up 3 properties. 1 remodel/rental, 1 demolition/New construction and 1 that I'm hoping to build a duplex on.

Again, that is my opinion, and I'm sure others will claim they are truly turnkey.A turnkey operator finds or builds a property.
