Since he had been investing in RE for 30 years he observed a few things.RE is the only investment that he knew (focus is on him) where you can buy for $100K, rent the property, sell for $50K and end up with a profit. $50K more than you started with.His point if you can buy with zero cash, have the tenant pay off the mortgage plus running costs, sell at a lower price than you purchased for and walk away with $50K more than you started with.
