Am about to move out of one of the duplex units and once it rents Ill clear about $100/door/month from the duplex.

I have acquired a rare illness which means that I have become disabled over the past year, with small children.

The fine could bankrupt you, and the guilt for causing irreversable illness could be worse.

Tenants have to remove everything from their cabinets in the kitchens and bathrooms because the pesticide can get you deathly ill if it gets on plates or food.

Im not sure I can fork over too much cash as I suspect Ill need it to put down when a bank approves me at which point I would pay off the seller but I would think the seller would like to see some earnest money.  

However it sounds like drug abuse may fall into an illness sort if gray area and if a past conviction for drug abuse alone you may want to look into whether you have other reasons to refuse.
