Are there any HOA fees.

Hello,  I've been putting offers in on for my first rental property (single family homes out of an HOA).

It depends on the HOA and other expenses along with your down payment though.

Is it even worth considering renting at a potential loss of HOA, also knowing home repairs could be needed in the future?

One one of my rentals - AFTER issuing the policy they requested an exterior inspection and I figured - it's a townhome in a nice area, hefty HOA fee, maintenance seems looked after.    

I bought a condo yesterday and the HOA did not disclose that the (beyond the studs) insurance was a separate cost from the HOA. 

Is your DSCR ratio greater than 1-meaning are you cash flowing (according to the lender's criteria of mortgage, property taxes and insurance (and HOA) if applicable).

Then, I searched for new or almost new gated Townhomes and finally paid Cash for a 1500 3/1 with garage and pool, in a 17 unit community with low HOA in Valrico on the North side of Hwy 60 for peace and quiet and safety while I travel.

What about the HOA fees in the Gulf Shores area, IS there a good number to use ??
