Now we pay 2 times a month and to keep my crews in Charleston I pay weekly.I under stand small time GC that do rental rehabs they need weekly pay.. as they can't carry jobs like established subs .My dry wall sub has 600 employees if that gives you an indication of their size... .And I can tell you the better and larger subs right now are killing it.... 

you need a license to manage for others. she can manage her own fine or hire you has an employee and you can manage it for her but if you start doing it for others you will have to get a license.

Then the other day I received a call from the owner of a nearby granite and stone business stating he's looking for housing for 2 employees he's bringing in from out of state.  

I am personally listed as the employer and employee.

FYI there's no such thing as a GC license in OKAlthough, a GC does pull the building permit downtown and must have general liability insurance and Workmans Comp on file or a waiver on a file which says that he has 0 employees

Small investors do not require LLC unless you have paid employees.

All the work will be done by licensed contractors and their employees/workers.
