A quick search in Mt Vernon between $75k -$80k... every house looks like it needs a new roof so make sure you factor that in.

Hey there,I've been searching properties in the upstate of South Carolina for several weeks now (and I feel somewhat dumb for even posting this to begin with because I actually own a few rentals and I'm slightly terrified come tax time next year), and apparently I've been running my tax numbers all wrong and not accounting for the 6% non-owner occupant rate.Am I completely missing something or does this seem to kill virtually every deal out there??

I remember when eBay was plagued with scammers selling fake everything, internet stock forums were full of pump-and-dumpers (who actually succeeded at their ploys) and Google search advertisements promised to regrow your hair. 

Hello all,I am attending my first sheriff's sale this afternoon and am using Doxpop for a title search. 

I pointed that out, and he was of course grateful.Later he asked me to find him a condo on the market, and we began the search. 

Really, I should know, as I've seen some rehabs that were so cheaply and unattractively done that I didn't pursue in purchasing when I was searching in Orlando to buy and rent.

This is a great area for reverse searching absentee landlords & vacants; checking the code compliance & back taxes lists, as well as driving for dollars.
