In other words,  you've paid twice.I would prefer you make them pay full rent and then pay them for services rendered just like any other employee or contractor.

Lender states our insurance is inadequate, my agent tells me their requests are not reasonable or possible for most insurers, yet their company has a preferred insurance agent who can write the correct policy... fishy.

Ideally real estate agents with experience looking for BRRRR properties in central OKC would be preferable since that is the strategy that I plan on using to grow my portfolio.I am extremely excited to create a long lasting relationship and hope to eventually make it profitable for all parties!

I am forming a team/business partner to start on real estate investing, and I want to ask if we need to get some kind of formal business licence such as an LLC...or we can just do it in personal/individual level? 

I have not personally used L1C because I prefer working with my local lenders whenever possible.    

Now I'm looking to take the leap and purchase a rental property...preferably a Multi Family in Murfreesboro or Chattanooga.

Just slightly limiting myself as I prefer to live close to work as the occ requires, but would rather have some extra drive time to go along with some extra cash. 

My girlfriend and I have talked about it a lot and we plan to buy our own house (preferably duplex) by the end of next year.

I'd prefer to learn a little more of the building process to help get a better idea on the numbers.
