That's funny you mention that, I was just looking at a list of properties under 10k today thinking.... there's gotta be some catch here. 

Shake things up = get involved in a new charity,  go to a non-real estate related networking group,  take an old friend to lunch just for the sake of catching up, etc. 

FYI - I will be away from the computer a bit for the long weekend, but I will definitely catch up on responses!

But it doesn't sound as if these people will catch up, if only the mother works and they're used to sitting on the couch. 

The only thing I use Zillow for is you can usually see photos of homes if they've ever been listed on Zillow, also you can search the recent comps sold to help get a better idea of a home's value.
