The issues we typically see with people having difficulty are:1.

It is a very system-driven profession and shouldn't be jumped into without the intention of building a business around it.

And given that many syndicators that offer paid mentorship cost in the 10s of thousands, I would just be very clear with each group you talk to on what you are needing versus what they actually offer.From the bits I have seen about a lot of people's mentorships (to be clear I have not gone through any), they cover market selection, basic underwriting, some marketing, basic legal compliance items.  

I think many people have heard lately that an extension has been in talks but haven't heard an update.

The value of honest business is irreplacable. 

I am not exactly sure what would be the best option for me but willing to hear out what people think would be a good idea. 

There is business to be had buying owner carry mortgages and deeds of trust..

We both have fulltime jobs, but we would like to replace those and work in the real estate business.

My main goal is cash flow right now since I have recently retired and the money coming in each month is important to me.I would love to connect with other investors in the area and get some advice from people who have had success in Charleston.
