I’ve shared what I’ve been learning with my soon to be high school graduate who has been motivated in evaluating properties with the calculators and wanting to look at houses.He plans on attending college on the fall and wants to house hack and rent the rooms to other college students.

However, it is located in an area with an excellent school district that has seen steady appreciation. 

School ranking are much better in Folsom or Rocklin.

My husband is about to graduate Army boot camp and we should be getting stationed at Fort Campbell (on the border of Oak Grove, KY and Clarksville, TN).

The county charged me $3600 for some b.s. school fee.

Better yet and maybe even for more money see if there is a trade union apprentice school around you where you could learn plumbing and/or electrical and/or HVAC. 

A few aspects of our search:Single family home with 7500 SQFT+ lot size, excellent public schools, suburb life stye, newish homes, good rental prospects, a budget of max $700K.I understand the market is pipping hot right now so not sure what the winning strategy would be but we are open to all-cash buying opportunities if that helps in any way.

I see it as a reason to help by investing in trade schools and providing a sustainable pricing environment.  

Just about five years ago I was finishing up graduate school at Texas A&M and had just accepted a job to teach high school and wrestling in San Antonio.
