We listen carefully to what applicants say and often weed out the applicants who don't intend to stay for one year and every once in a while we get a tenant who signs a 1-year lease and moves in 30 days with some b.s. excuse regarding why they have to move.  

yes. but with the GDP down, people still not working, the "new strain" it gives them endless slack and excuses not to. idk, hopefully I'm wrong and interest rates spike, combating inflation and prices tank, syndications go under, stocks tank, our economy  plummets and they step back in and lower them again. sorry for the long winded response!

@Tyler White Do not look for and excuse or look for someone to say “pull the trigger” on a buying a property you know is not a good idea.

He's a guy who always shows up and gives me no BS quotes which I'm happy to pay no arguments because his prices allow me to truly not be there, not deal with headaches, not hear excuses about subs not working, not discuss materials and not worry that a six week job will take 6 months.

I think overall it's a persons excuse to avoid investing from their fear.

All I’m hearing from you is excuses.

If I was able to make it through all the adversity that I faced throughout my life there should really be no excuse for anyone else.

Every scenario you can throw at this for excuses are just that excuses.

We've all seen the movies - "Ignorance of the law is no excuse", but the 'bad guy' here is clearly this squatter IMHO.....

There is so much FREE education out there and people willing to help there should be no excuse.
