My personal opinion and I could be wrong here, is that there is little incentive for property managers to preserve the human capital they have in their tenants.

Being a human with a heart is not a bad thing.

It's been 2 months and still no refund, had to file a dispute with my bank.I think their service could be good, but there's humans entering the numbers, so mistakes could be made.

With that being said, watch out for violent criminals and drug dealers.

The spirit of the law is most important in real estate and any other time dealing with humans. 

He also mentioned you can start a fund that "funds the fund" or become a broker/dealer, but he didn't seem too bullish on either approach. 

To conclude, I think it is ok to share your story in an organic way if warranted, as human beings are naturally wired to listen, remember and are attracted to storytelling but to plug shamelessly and on a consistent basis just makes it all too cringey and blatantly sleazy!
