Does anyone prefer one city or county over another.

I'm a small-time side investor with just a couple rental properties in NE Ohio.

People will rightfully assume that you cannot know as much as an older person, you just cannot have that much experience.The best way to gain people's trust is to do a couple deals and get happy satisfied clients who will use you again and refer you to others ......I don't see a shortcut here.Or else you have to have the deal of the century.   .people will sometimes sacrifice their comfort level when there is money to be made..Good for you though for starting so early, just hang in there and don't give up...

However there are a couple of steps needed and I suggest you get legal help to ensure it is done correctlyOn another note, I went to high school nearby in Gregory-Portland and back in the early 90's my mom was the School Superintendent in Rockport

I prefer STR instead, which is more work, more head aches, but also more money haha.

Unfortunately, this means that I have to let this deal go, but it made me come up with a couple of questions about this situation:Does anyone have experience in partnerships where one partner's only real requirement is to sit on the loan and potentially provide interest payments when needed during the duration of the construction?

If you've already got a couple properties then definitely worth getting started on that, but not usually a priority for your first steps.

Technically on paper I do not own this property, however we are putting the property into a land trust that we will both own together 50/50.In speaking with a couple attorneys, I am getting mixed answers.

You don't need to call around to 10 places just go to someone that can explain things, will not skimp on coverage to save a couple bucks, and can shop around.
