We have given ourselves a loose timeline of starting to seriously look at properties to purchase in March .. and whenever the right one comes across, we can pull the trigger.

Intersting advise from your mortgage brokers - transferring title into an LLC after closing is almost certainly a violation or your mortgage contract and will trigger the a "due on sale" clause.

I have known people that  didn’t want to pull the trigger on a house,  but didn’t want anybody else to have it either. 

My husband and I just pulled the trigger on our first long-term rental in Raleigh, NC.

I'd recommond reaching out to someone you know who is here to look at the areas/houses and send videos, or if you get some House Hunting check out both spots before pulling the trigger.
