Measuring salaries is easy, but happiness requires some level of self reporting which is biased and relative. 

Your sample size is too small and biased. 

I live and work here so maybe I'm biased on how much I love it ha but the numbers don't lie!

The federal government had already said the historically racially biased criminal justice system in the US could have a disparate-impact. 

Successful people have a bias for action in spite of it.

Of course I'm more biased towards San Diego but I believe in it that's why most of my investments are here.P.S. it is much easier to qualify for a high loan amount on a duplex than one would think since the rent from the second unit can be used as your income in the eyes of the lender.  

I'm biased because I obviously chose REI over aggressively paying down debt.

But that's more of a political bias than any rational belief.
