"Even if you only spend 15-20 min googleing and compiling some of the data, it shows self motivation and may demonstrate that you know enough of the basic key concepts and variables that an investor should be concerned with, so in turn you stimulate the pros and master level posters to want to add real in depth value, that is deeper or more insightful than what can be determined from a 15 min google search.

I read a lot of the in-depth analysis on here, and have tried to apply it to this building, but at the end of the day, its a small, 8-unit office building, and all those numbers don't really sway me one way or the other.

I also highly recommend listening to the BP podcasts (free - and I learn something new every podcast), plus Traction REIA has monthly speakers and workshops (under $70) that can also be very good training (although watch out for the sell for coaching or more in depth training).
