If so, then this could be nothing more than a twist on the upfront fee scam, and I suggest you run for the hills.Just speculating, but it would be interesting if the scammers found the name of a legitimate type of debt insurance, albeit only common overseas, and are now trying to convince naïve US borrowers to pay them up-front for these policies.

for the most part, it's just managing risk/reward ratios when it comes to stocks since it's entirely about speculation.  

Especially in a highly speculative venture.

To me at least, this is definitely not the time to be speculating in RE markets heavily driven by oil prices.  

Account Closed - IMO, speculation about the impact of the new Apple HQ is already built into retail prices of homes in that area, so I wouldn't speculate on speculation by going for it at that price.

I view this as the type of speculation that had everybody and their grandmother buying during the boom.

It is the same with speculating, flipping, building, developing and owning a large number of units.Investing has a lot to do with capital growth.

If you allow this strategy to turn into the wild west of real estate speculation with people out their making more money "teaching" others on how to get rich than actually wholesaling real estate with ethics and integrity, I promise you your state will take notice.
