In Ogden in particular, condition plays a large factor and it's difficult to get a feel for these properties unless you can see them physically.Also, there's a local Real Estate Investors Association that's a great way to network offline (nureia.org) (Disclosure: I'm on the board).Good luck and let us know if we can help!

If you go the college route NETWORK, this can be one of the biggest benefits. 

I also network with other investors, and get great contractor leads from them, and sometimes we get together and just chat. 

Is there a network for builders to find suitable R3 land? 

Prices will vary widely and you need to know why that is.

I am talking with my agent and he has a network of other agents which he will shop this around if we do decide to sell.

get as much education as you can about the game, networking is IMPORTANT so dont leave that part out attent local meetups and rei events (the free ones ).
