The US is 23 trillion in debt (on balance sheet), we are the largest debtor nation in the history of the world, the US has a wildly inflated standard of living because of the USD status as world reserve currency, the stock market is at nose bleed levels, and the bond market has 15 trillion in NEGATIVE yielding debt. 

Due to this and the time burden of handling currency, we are looking at alternatives.

Sorry if my post was confusing there is a tax treatment for foreigners that is not widely known and its called "portfolio interest" for for many foreigners investing IN the US  this tax treatment is FAR better than owning the asset..

I have this perception I guess I would say that Panama may be one of the most friendly toward foreign investors so I'm going to look into that more but was wondering if anyone has other suggestions.
