I have learned from experience and luckily the lesson learned was not too expensive, but it did cost me (and my husband at the time) about $1500.00.No matter how reliable they are, you will be left holding the bag at some point.Plenty of my friends and extended family have had the same experience.

Dion is absolutely correct, don't get creative trying to write notes, don't even do it as a separate matter as you are "mixing" interests, you can't be on both sides of that fence.Totally agree, wait until the dust settles in court, the bank/lender will be waiting as well, I don't see any hurry until the other matter is cleared up.
