I'm at a crossroads and need some advice from those with experience in real estate.

You guys have to do your research on credit so you better understand why they do things the way they do and, not just post on forums like you had a bad experience with a company...

I have no experience with flips or BRRRs and don't want to use all my equity for low cash flow right now either.

My experience (pre-Covid) with section 8 was there were A LOT of people searching for homes with their vouchers but a shortage of landlords either qualified or willing to accept Section 8 tenants.

Finding quality tenants requires a lot of experience and takes a lot of time.

Anyone have experience with this process and any advice?

Will this cash flow, how is your experience in this area and how are the tenants? 

and to be clear - no, there is no obvious / effortless / low risk way to put funds into something RE-related with no experience and easily beat savings or CD returns right now.lots of folks thought there was and got burned.getting in right now requires patience and money. 

Specifically, I’m wondering what others’ experiences have been working with private lenders, and how to find one?

Renting this property by the room, as we do all our rentals, this has been a phenomenal experience and it continues to be one of our best income producing properties in Indy with little turnover.
