I know here in TN it is taking a little while to get a court date so I do not know what it looks like in TX right now.

Have a tenant who won’t pay rent changed the locks won’t get out etc in the Philadelphia area courts super backed up any advice from someone familiar with Philadelphia area 

When it goes to court (and it will) and the judge finds out that you knew you were renting an illegal unit, you will have more to worry about than making a few bucks.Just my .02.
