I am sending contractors to give me an idea of what it would take, but wondering if someone on bg has already done it and has advice in this regard.

I am currently considering the possibility of investing in properties in strategic locations under $100k and listing them on section.

I’m not a full time rehabber, but am currently remodeling two houses I have held for a long time.  

@Jerry Zhang, I know this is no longer a viable deal, but my insights are:I am generally not touching a deal where household incomes are $31k.  

I am not familiar with that though.You can call your local housing authority and request their list of available Section 8 homes.

I am not going to contest it I am happy to take the $ and run.

I am also eligible for the Section 121 exclusion for this transaction.I received two 1099-S forms from the title company: one reporting the cash proceeds (box 2 for Gross Proceeds) and the other showing no amount in box 2 but with box 4 checked, indicating the transaction involved a 1031 exchange.

I know this is an old post, but I am in a similar situation as @Omar Guitierrez, and need financing as well.
