We plan to have all of the windows replaced, have made upgrades throughout the home, and eventually add 1-2 more rooms in the partially finished basement.

I provided planned drawings from my designer including finished materials but they were rejected.

@Matthew FelanHi Matt, if the framing is finished, then why not use the same contractor crew to finish out your conversion?

I've also seen square footage of finished sunshine basements and even the lower levels of splits (where the lower level starts about two feed underground and all the windows are above ground level) not counted as square footage.
