Hello, i was wondering if seattle or any other part of washington is a great place for rental properties?

This varies on square footage obviously but I'm wondering if there is a either a rule of thumb or a local contact that might be able to offer some insight.Thank you!

In the last 7 days:789 properties have come on the market.471 properties have gone under contract with a buyer.764 properties have sold/exchanged owners.312 new leases were signed.The average and median sale prices/square foot increase by $1.38 and $3.45 compared to last week and more than that compared to previous weeks.

Also, if vacancies are coming up, and there are situations like this, do you think any landlord who is not very certain will rent to a prospective tenant w/a low or average FICA score?

My hope was to add on around 300-350 square feet with a master bedroom and bathroom and laundry closet (laundry is currently in the kitchen).

EX: a new roof on a $30k house that's 1,000 square feet will probably be the same price as a new room on a $100k house that's 1,000 square feet.Let me know if you have any questions.
