At most I would have done like a six month trial lease with this person, until the end of the school year at most, to test things out - assuming that she otherwise had qualified (which I doubt would have been the case). 15 months I might consider for somebody who had not moved a lot and had wonderful references from a couple of landlords back; I don't think this tenant fits that.
