As far as the property on Goat Hill, after reading through your description again it's starting to sound quite familiar.

On the first page, Part I, Line 2 "Description of like-kind property received:" you either described the property as one piece of property which would have included the home and the lots, or you described the home as one piece of property and each lot as a separate piece of property.  

Looking at how much an undeveloped parcel of land similar to yours and in the same geographic reason recently sold for and comparing it to your purchase price is a reasonable method.
