It seems like almost Every time we call a home warranty company for a problem, they deny the service either on grounds of lack of maintenance or abnormal wear and tear.

You cannot deny the family because of the lead paint either, that's considered discrimination (you're refusing them because they have a kid) and is against the anti-discrimination laws of the state.

As expected I was denied on multiple occasions, but in the long run I was still able to raise enough to close.

My guess is they will deny because they don't want to get it inspected at this point since the walls are closed up.

Many people don't return the applications, especially when they have an inkling they will be denied.
