We get lots of guests stopping in to rest before catching a flight, doctors and nurses traveling for work, even locals that are just looking to get away for a night out in downtown Phoenix.The tiny guesthouse is currently generating enough income to pay almost the entirity of our mortgage, and we are in the process of refinancing the home to lower my rates and to get rid of my PMI taking advantage of the appreciation we have seen here in the last couple of years.

The problem is that there's a ton of these "a guy and a truck" contractors out there that needs the money from the next guy to pay for the materials and the labor from the previous job, and eventually that catches up to them on someone's job - and that's the someone that pays a deposit or pays for materials and never sees anything, then spends a ton of effort trying to get their money back or get the guy hauled in for fraud.
