These are perfect shops for woodworkers, paint companies, rental companies, etc.

Our houses are older and have plaster walls and woodwork around the windows.

Say it louder for the folks in back Mike.We are starting to see the real pros come out of the woodwork now that housing prices are stagnating and falling. 

If the doors are in decent shape, you can probably get away with just sanding any paint imperfections smooth, rather than stripping (I did stripping in my first house, but that's because there was more natural woodwork than painted and I wanted to get rid of all the paint on wood).

I found a local wood working club and they got me in touch with a guy who routed the edges to match the old ones.

I think 4800 sq. feet with custom woodwork throughout (it was a contractors personal home) with beautiful views of Mt Hood and Adams.

Original walls, floors, woodwork and even cabinets can be refurbished for a fraction of the price of replacement.

Plus, it was called Digs, Deals and Dames as it was aimed toward female investors so I'm not sure it would have been your cup of tea anyway :)  I haven't seen any local property managers on this board, but who knows, maybe your request will help them come out of the woodworks! 

SOme are all about commercial work, others at high end detail woodwork, others are all about sec 8 unit turns, and others have the nack for design and nailing the perfect flip.
