Just because you are not seeing it and it is not hurting your business plan, doesn't mean it's not a widespread issue for the housing market in general. 

The problem with what you say is that at this point we really don’t know what the mortality rate is without widespread testing.

There are multiple problems with allowing those who want to get back to work to do so before we have widespread testing capabilities. (1) This virus is REALLY contagious.

That didn't last long though, because buyers were in full swing pretty quickly here.I'm sure there are some markets out there that haven't fared so well, but I haven't heard of any with widespread firesales and foreclosures.

Some places are widespread crime holes. 

It is important to explain that a 3-day isn't an eviction because among "non-professional" tenants there is wide spread confusion about the eviction process.

Like your State, it was right to not downplay this at first and take the responsible actions they took to avoid widespread infections.As for the original reason for this thread, no Covid 19 won’t cause a recession (the other reasons I mentioned early is what would have caused it) Covid 19 just jump started prematurely the recession that was already coming.

I'm curious if anyone has relaxed tenant qualification standards due to current widespread hardships. 

It's not in widespread use within the mortgage industry.
