But if you come off shifty, your going to look like the snake in the grass and a good contractor is going to avoid you like the plague. 

Theres definitely a lot of snake oil but it seems like a small investment for a great return...even if its years down the road.

@Peter Morgan I have a place for the tenant to rent , It has snakes , groundhogs ,deer , wild turkeys , feral cats , foxes and buzzards .

I currently live in Meridian, but have lived in several spots; moved to Idaho in '93 as a kid to Marsing, which is a very small town on the Snake River about 45 minutes from downtown Boise (for my Idaho peeps you can imagine the culture shock moving as a 13-year-old from San Antonio, TX where I was born and raised to Marsing, ID!!)

@Dan Heuschele well is seems you are lashing out at me and insinuating I am a snake oil salesmen in a public forum without all the facts,  not cool at all. 

I think that anyone who claims they can definitively predict the future of a market (housing, US corporate equities / credit, etc.) is likely selling some form of snake oil.

Belize is ranked in the top 10 deadliest countries in the world (drug related in south part of Belize City).  40 poisonous snakes, 4 of them can kill you in 15 minutes (only about 5 people out of 330,000 die per year from snake bite).
