Money doesn't buy happiness, it comes from within, from being content and appreciating what you have.When people talk about entitlement mentality, this is what they are talking about.

I was a project lead on residential remodels but recently moved to a job in commercial construction to free up some mental bandwidth to be used for my own endeavors. 

I spent a few decades creating my teams.. but 99% of my folks don't have the BP mentality were they are looking for the highest returns and willing to take some risk.. my folks are coupon clippers.. but my folks COC returns will beat most rentals. especially west coast.. but again its completely different asset and people have all sorts of different reasons for investing in certain things..

She put on a very good show regarding her personality and type of person that she was and I have paid the price for that financially and mentally enough already.Thanks in advance

Your mental state is stronger than you think. 

You would have to pay down $33,362 to do that, but you could just pay it down over time or just make a mental note of what point you need to refinance once it gets to that level.Just an idea, it may take more time to get positioned for this method, but it will be the best of both worlds... 

I closed no business and learned much less from the experience than I thought I would.Now, a year has passed and I have adopted an entirely new approach to my mentality about this entire industry. 

I agree, I feel Iike I mentally respond with the intent of getting to a computer to actually respond, but of course my brain ends up focusing on something else and I never get around to it.

If you're able to save quite a bit using the "pay yourself first" mentality, then you're doing the right thing.
