I think in-person training can be more valuable as you get to participate in conversations with the class and hear anecdotal stories from the instructor, which all help cement important points.

For instance, when I wanted to improve my golf game I went to an instructor, and they were able to point out things I was not aware of and help to focus my time and efforts into productive practice sessions.hope that makes sense and sorry for the long reply..

It's the rare agent who cares as much as you do, but we do exist- I'm a little different though, as I came from twenty years in residential and brokerage management, instructor, etc. 

Gyms have classes with instructors however the people that get the best results have the gym membership, attend the classes, and have a trainer to hold them accountable and work with their individual needs.

I am a mom by day and a Dean of Instructors for 101 Financial the rest of the day.  

Robin Thompson was the instructor and she was very good and tried to sell you on a boot camp and mentorship program.

Instructor Lead not some tapes they put on a TV screen. 

One instructor just happens to be a real investor, and says to the class, "I'll be talking about some real deals I'm currently working on".

Being in a live class setting you pick up things when the instructor teaches.
