Would my previous industry experience (property management, acquisitions, asset management, Realtor) improve my chances of qualifying for a DSCR loan?

To piggyback on Henry's comments, he's spot on with #4.

Commissions don’t like to do Spot zoning changes.  

I have been in the construction industry, mostly residential renovating, so I know how to spot damages, repairs, and/or things that need to be replaced.

So easy to spot a social media "guru" these days.

For further background, I’m looking to purchase a spot around 750K, but want to seller finance 100-200k of the price to reduce the need for a large down payment / keep myself liquid for renovation costs. 

I’m eager to learn and connect with others in the industry.

That has been a big thing.The easy way I think to say it is if you are a lender, agent, insurance person, you shouldn't be starting forum posts to elicit feedback in your industry or genre.

But you have to be very creative and understand that if you're seeing deals from industry professionals (rather than sourcing them yourself), there's probably not enough meat left on the bone for a good opportunity to create value.Good luck!
