My market (Indianapolis) is an excellent one for this strategy and there is a lot of demand here for furnished mid and short term rentals.

OC may be terrible for cash flow, but it may be excellent for appreciation.

Also excellent for first house hack. 

I could have easily had double the portfolio I now own, and while I'm not complaining by any stretch of the imagination as RE has been very very good to me, it slowed my progress down significantly when interest rates were excellent and I should have been more willing to use leverage.

With the market potential growing in the region, there are excellent opportunities to build long-term wealth.

If you were more knowledgeable about the process, as indicated by representative questions, I would say you could go your own way, but even then, considering the commitments, a Realtor can bring excellent value.
