The area seems to have escaped the fate of Lake County IL who chose not to improve their infrastructure thinking, "if we don't build it, they won't come", but "they" came, anyway, and now Lake County traffic congestion is the stuff of legend.Shorewood is nearby out here where the homes tend to be larger and higher valued, even the older homes.In my investing group, some of the people are doing quite well with their projects in and around the area.

I think everyone else's ideas about cutting expenses to the extent possible, looking for training or careers to move up in, and taking incremental education and job steps like that will help you escape the "poverty trap."

I also have clauses in my contract stating that it must be a good marketable title with no liens or encumberances amongst some other contingencies to provide an escape just in case something unexpected arises.Should I be contact the title company right now and having them do the title search, etc.?

If possible I would try to tie up the dirt with an option that included plenty of escapes and gives you enough time to do your due dilligence.This 43 acres, are there utilities, roads in place, curb and gutter, proper zoning?
