It really depends on the age of your clientele and how trend conscious they are. 

Too many restrictions, fees, Etc....Add environmental regulations in states like California and it becomes near impossible to build housing as needed.STRs the problem?

this could be relevant if you have environmental issues and cleanup, but still, no disclosure requirement. 

Demo & AsbestosWe have demo scheduled in a couple weeks, however, prior to starting demo we decided to get an environmental study to test for asbestos in the building materials.

Do you have a previous gas tank or spill and you need to do environmental mitigation?

There is some room in the East but it quickly gets environmentally harsh and has Imperial county.I have never been to Columbus (I have been to Dayton - Columbus would be highest on my Ohio cities to visit). 

The property had some minor environmental issues which resulted in the closing taking almost 6 months.
